Analysing air quality through measurement devices and citizen science for behavioural change
ABOUT THE PILOT
The SOCIO-BEE pilot project in Zaragoza aims to build a stable community of citizens working together to monitor the city’s air quality.
The collection and analysis of this data, through the technology that the project will make available, will provide scientific data and conclusions that can influence municipal mobility policies.
Participants will also be able to make decisions based on scientific evidence and influence our day-to-day behaviour.
We will work with teenagers and young people who will test the usefulness of the technology developed by the project by participating in citizen science campaigns that will measure in real time the quality of the air we breathe. This community will later be open to any citizen interested in mobility and improving air quality in Zaragoza’s neighbourhoods.
